Almeran has a centralized government and is ruled by a monarch. The monarch has absolute authority over the kingdom, but they rely on a royal cabinet, which is there to advise and aid them. The title is passed down from the monarch on the eldest child, regardless of gender.

The royal cabinet is made up by the following positions:
Advisor of People — Attends to the needs, concerns and requests of the people. They are the middleman/mediator between the monarch and the citizens.
Advisor of Finance — Manages to the royal wealth, advises the monarch on how to spend money. They also offer recommendations to the ruler regarding which vendors and business owners are worth collaborating with.
Advisor of War — The Commander advises the ruler on political conflicts and informs them about the military's current status.
Advisor of Agriculture — Handles agricultural matters and oversees the royal farms. They collaborate closely with the Finance Advisor, discussing potential business opportunities. Some farmers employed by the royal family may receive higher pay from the crown based on the quantity and quality of their crops.
Advisor of Refugees — Keeps the cabinet up to date about everything that has to do with refugees, people from other territories that have come to live in Almeran.*

Their military operates in a centralized manner, led by the Commander who also serves as the Advisor of War.

* The Advisor of Refugees is the head of the Newcomers organisation. It's an organisation that keeps track of all the refugees and keeps an eye on them, to make sure they adapt well to Almeran's ways and to ensure they aren't spies. They check in on refugees every now and then and keep a list of all the names. Refugees that aren't registered by the Newcomers organisation are illegally staying in Almeran and will be automatically considered suspicious. They will be forced to leave the kingdom.
