Body description: Max is of average height, around 5’9 and a fit build. Honestly this is mostly due to vanity and wanting to look hot as hell but it’s also a cause of military training he has had since he was a kid. He has brown eyes that will make you melt like honey, a charming smile, and will toss out a playful wink at any opportunity. He had shaggy brown hair and a trimmed beard and mustache that all make him the epitome of what it means to look like ‘prince charming’.
Personality: Max is an absolute delight. He has a group of close noble friends that all just adore him and the fun that he brings to their lives. He is certainly not the perfect little prince that he ought to be but he can put on the show when appropriate. However, when enjoying time with his friends without extra watching eyes, he absolutely lets go and likes to have fun. He drinks too much, flirts too much, and plays one too many pranks half of the time. He is not afraid to speak his mind and will be honest about problems that he sees in their world. He has hooked up with several of his friends, usually while drunk, and enjoys pushing against 'the rules'.
Max is much the same when he's using his blessing, his various personas are ones that people, often commoners, enjoy spending time with. Each persona he uses has their own group of friends that he's attracted. He is a magnet to people everywhere he goes. He fights against injustice and is the voice of 'the little guy' any time he sees an opportunity to do so.
Magic: Blest - Shapeshifting. Max can change his appearance at will. He can change little things like being clean shaven or not or changing the color of his eyes but he can also change his entire appearance to look like someone else entirely, even a woman. He most often uses it in order to go out and have fun without looking like ‘the prince’ and has yet to realize just how much of an asset this gift could be.
As of now, only his family knows he is blest as they have encouraged him that his blessing would be most useful if it was also a secret.
Combat experience: While not officially involved with the military, Max spent much of his younger years in training as if he was. With both private tutors and participating in trainings directly with other soldiers, Max gained experience in battle scenarios with the purpose of keeping himself safe as well as being able to protect his family, especially his sister, one day if the need ever arose. He is especially skilled with small knives and daggers which he picked up as a hobby as much as a weapon.

History:
Since Max was born he was well aware that his sister was the heir and not him. In fact it was a pretty regular conversation between him and his parents. His sister would inherit the throne, it was her who needed to be protected, and Max should do what he could do help in that. When Max was younger he took on that role very seriously. When he was 5 and Lorelle was 8 he even got into a fight with one of their playmates because Max deemed that he had hurt Lorelle while playing on purpose.
It was when he was almost 11 that his blessing manifested. It started by small things that seemed to change based on his mood. When his parents realized what kind of blessing he had, they also saw the value in keeping it a secret. As such, he was not sent to guidance school but rather had a private tutor come to the palace to personally guide him through his education for controlling his blessing. Even today only his parents, Lorelle, and the tutor are aware of the blessing that he has.
As he grew into a teenager he started to realize that because he wasn't the heir it gave him more opportunity to not be the perfect kid all of the time. With a blessing that allowed him to hide in plain site, Max started to explore the seedier parts of Allure. He made friends with smaller nobility and even with commoners and found how exciting it was to not be seen as 'the prince' all the time. He took on a couple of different secret identities and kept his secret of who he really was to himself. He has made many friends and still enjoys his time out among the people. It also gave him more sympathy for the kinds of lives that the common folk of Almeran live compared to those with wealth and power.
He is really close to his sister and absolutely adores her as well as his little nephew, Lucas. Though he is still a little weary of her husband, Roman. He has told Lorelle about his extracurricular activities but she's the only one who knows. She is not exactly a fan and they do butt heads here and there about things like his safety and how he should be behaving but they usually get along well.
