SITE RULES
There rules on In Her Name are simple:
1. Members must be 18+. While the site is PG13, a lot of us are over 18, and for the general comfort and understanding, we prefer our members to be 18 plus.
2. All content should be PG13. Put a [TW] in the title of your thread if it deals with sensitive subjects, or at the start of your post if it is just one post containing sensitive subjects (such as rape, animal cruelty, torture, child abuse, incest, etc).
3. Be respectful to each other and staff. If there are ever any problems concerning another member, reach out to the staff and we will try to resolve the issue.
4. Every member should read the rules and the lore before creating a character.
5. Every member should first make an OOC account with your (online) name before making any characters. You don't need to post with this account, but it should be used for OOC communication on the forum and in case of needing to post something IC related that is not in the name of a character.
6. Every new member is allowed to immediately make two characters. The first one should be a human, and the second one can be a Blest/Keeper. After these initial two, you should have a human for every Blest/Keeper.
7. Characters should be registered with their first name. This will be their @. In your profile, you can edit their name to their first and last name. You cannot change their first name.
8. Faceclaims have to be real people! No anime/manga/cartoons/art/etc. The youngest a character can be is 16.
9. In Her Name is an inclusive site. While homosexual relationships might be frowned upon in certain kingdoms, it will never be a crime. Race is another thing that we don't look at. Races are not related to certain kingdoms, and POC are not 'from another place'. All races can be found in all kingdoms. We do look at family resemblance. If a parent is not white, children should look party like their parent's race.
10. All IC threads require a year and season in the second subject line. There is a placeholder with the form, but for clarity, here it is once more: [year, season], e.g. ‘[1043, spring]’. This makes it easier to know when things happened.
11. The site is 3-3-3 but leaning towards 3-2-3. Graphic sexual descriptions are not allowed. When something happens, put [FADE OUT] at the end of your post, and [FADE IN] at the start of the next one.
